Description
Juicy, smoky, copycat Chick-fil-A grilled chicken nuggets made at home with pickle juice and powdered sugar for that signature flavor.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup dill pickle juice
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp powdered sugar
2 tsp Girls Can Grill Chicken Rub
Instructions
1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Place in a bowl with pickle juice and milk. Marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Remove from marinade and pat dry.
3. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and Chicken Rub. Sprinkle all over chicken.
4. Heat grill to high. Grill chicken for 3 minutes per side until cooked through.
5. Serve with honey mustard dipping sauce.
Notes
This recipe has been updated to reduce sodium by combining the rub with powdered sugar. For the old rub, mix: 2 tsp powdered sugar, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp celery salt.
