Description
Fresh and zesty cilantro lime shrimp wraps made in just 15 minutes. Perfect for quick dinners or light lunches with bold citrus flavor.
Ingredients
2 lbs shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed
5–6 cloves garlic, finely minced or microplaned
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup lime juice, about 2 limes
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt, more to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper, more to taste
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
1 head Romaine lettuce, for wraps
Garlic cilantro sauce, for serving
Optional: rice or flour tortillas for serving
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, and salt and pepper.
2. In a large bowl, combine shrimp and garlic lime mixture. Toss shrimp with the sauce.
3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and sauce.
4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until just pink. Shut off the heat and stir in the cilantro.
5. Serve shrimp in romaine lettuce “wraps” or in a flour tortilla.Top with green onions and Cilantro Garlic Sauce and enjoy!
Notes
Garlic cilantro sauce adds creaminess and depth. Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. Great for meal prep or party bars.
